Role Overview
The MuleSoft Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy integrations that connect various applications and systems. The MuleSoft Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust integration solutions that align with the company’s overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
Build APIs and integrations?to meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure the accuracy and stability of integration solutions.
Develop and maintain API-led connectivity layers, including system, process, and experience APIs.
Monitor and optimize integration flows to ensure reliability, availability, and performance.
Document technical designs, processes, and integration flow to maintain transparency and sustainability.
Define and implement exception handling processes.
Capture telemetry data through the use of an Application Performance Management (APM) tool.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to integrations.
Work closely with the DevOps team to implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration deployments.
Ensure integration solutions comply with best practices in security, data governance, and system performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4.
Experience with API development, management, and best practices.
Strong understanding of REST/SOAP web services and XML/JSON data formats.
Familiarity with integration patterns, ESB, and microservices architecture.
Proficient in data transformation using DataWeave.
Experience in implementing security policies like OAuth 2.0, JWT, etc.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, or similar.
Previous use of APM tools such as Application Insights, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
MuleSoft certifications (MCD Level 1 or Level 2) are highly desirable.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience in working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
